Adrahil I (sometimes erroneously called Adrahil of Dol Amroth) was a general in the forces of Gondor. He helped fight against the Wainriders in the year TA 1944 in the same battle where King Ondoher was slain. The branch of the army led by Adrahil was shielded from this brutal attack, however, and survived to fight another day.

Adrahil led his forces south to create a defensive line in Ithilien, between Caer Andros and Ephel Dúath. Due to this, the advance of Minas Tirith was covered, and Minohtar's next action proved successful. Adrahil proceeded to send word to Eärnil of the fate of the northern army.

What became of Adrahil after this has been lost to history, though it is guessed that if he survived the rest of the battle he would likely have continued to fight against the Wainriders until their defeat at the Battle of the Camp.

Though the lineage cannot be directly traced, it is believed that Adrahil may be one of the forefathers of Adrahil II.
