Aethrid of Dauth is a character of legend in the lands of Alagaësia. According to the song Sweet Aethrid o' Dauth, her lover was imprisoned by Lord Edel. She bravely attempted to rescue him, and this tale was then recorded in the ballad. It is unknown whether or not she truly existed.
