The Kaldorei Arch Druid Elerethe Renferal of the Cenarion Circle traveled to the Alterac Valley with the Druids of the Grove in order to save the flora and fauna of the valley from the ongoing conflict. She was unable to prevent the carnage, due largely in part to the elemental magic of an Orc Shaman. Now she continuously seeks to restore balance to the valley in spite of the constant conflicts there.
She discovered that the Frostwolf Clan, still protected by unstable elemental magic, carry charms called storm crystals. She encouraged Champions of the Alliance to collect the crystals, which could be used to summon Ivus the Forest Lord to break the defenses of the Horde.
Afterwards, she encouraged the Champions to collect the crystals so that they might be given to the Cenarion Circle. She hoped that this would enable the Druids of the Grove to help regrow the flora of the valley -- which had become her new mission.
She and Naralex joined the convocation called by Fandral Staghelm -- both hoping to make amends for their recent failures. Later, she was present at the wedding of Malfurion Stormrage and Tyrande Whisperwind.
She later traveled to Ashenvale to meet with Hamuul Runetotem and a number of other druids. When the meeting was attacked by orcs from the Twilight's Hammer Cult she shifted into her cat form to fight them off. Though she disembowled one assailant, another pinned her to the ground with a polearm and slew her.

Arch Druid Renferal is a level 54-85 quest giver from World of Warcraft. She also appears in the novels World of Warcraft: Stormrage and World of Warcraft: The Shattering.
